This is one of those days where I’d rather be anywhere but here. I haven’t seen another soul all day. No wait, the lady in the car in front of me at the dump said, “Trash. Don’t leave home without it.”
(Strains of “People, I need people!” running through my mind.)
Maybe it’s because it’s cloudy and cool. Maybe it’s the boring book I’m STILL editing. Maybe I’m worried about Daisy, who doesn’t seem to want to climb steps anymore, poor thing. Yet I can’t leave her food for her where other dogs, raccoons, etc. would eat it… She’s found a hidey-hole beneath the house, and since it was threatening thunderstorms (tho none ever materialized), she was hiding out most of the day.
Even Elliott will be having a life tonight, going to see Joshua Lozoff with Kelly at Manbites Dog Theater. I’m envious.
I was kind of hoping next month’s quilt block would show up so I’d have something to work with but it didn’t. At least I’m saved from “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? because there’s no way I’d watch that with NOTHING to do with my hands. It’s bad enough sitting there quilting. That’s it…I’ll take up knitting again. I’ll have Elliott bring down all my knitting needles. Good idea.
Anyway, enough of a pity party. (That’s what it is…I finished the hot chocolate earlier today…not enough sugar in the house!)

I say again
They have tons of good stuff and will save you from that awful show when you are bored.
I want to know about your quilting, too.
