(4:10:59 PM) Kelly: 'ello my mother dearest
(4:11:06 PM) Kelly: beloved of all the mothers
(4:12:48 PM) Kelly: ye who has been abandoned at the edges of the great nowhere
for the sake and safety of those you rule over
(4:18:24 PM) Kelly: I, the grand vizier, heard of your troubles (in your
absence, the Prince has developed control of the magics of Swift Passage and
created a means of communication) and I thought to bring you joy in your time
of loneliness
(4:19:35 PM) Kelly: I have not heard from the captain of the guard Night Owl
recently, but I believe she is succeeding in her mission in the great land of
Arizona, and making contact with the strange people who live there
(4:20:06 PM) Kelly: she may soon send information through the great magician
prince Swift Passage
(4:21:20 PM) Kelly: my time here grows short, I must return to my duties of information
collection, but I wanted to let my dear queen know that she has not been
forgotten
(4:21:25 PM) Kelly: P.S. Do we own a crockpot?
Okay, it made me laugh. She has such a way with words! Just like Elliott and Margie. I’m going to start feeling inferior any moment now.
Workwise, I’m still struggling with the Historical Dictionary of the Coptic Church...for whatever reason, my Word program changed The to the. Which would have been okay except for ALL the sentences that started with The as well as all the book titles. In 400 or so pages, there were a lot of wrong ones. Grrrrrr. I’m finding the book fascinating, but I want to get it done and off my desk so I can start on the challenge of “Managing Animal Laboratories.” Doesn’t that sound charming? Well, interesting maybe, but charming, not quite.
