Downtime and Uptime

The server hosting swiftpassage experienced a slow-moving failure of it's hard drive last month, causing odd performance at first, little glitches, which were incrementally ramping up to suggest real trouble coming. We pulled it offline before it could really fail in the hope of rescuing as much of the blog as possible, which we hadn't backed up in some time. 

We replaced the outgoing drive, and had the mailserver working in a matter of minutes, but it took a couple of weeks to re-install the Media Archive, Music, and Blog servers.

All is well again, the parties responsible have been sacked, and the management sincerely regrets any inconvenience!
